Welcome, to BroadcastTech.NET.
The purpose of this endeavor is to be a source of information for Broadcast Technicians, radio or TV, who need a place on the World Wide Web that deals with actual fixing of day-to-day equipment such as VTRs, Monitors, Closed Captioned systems just to name a few. The site will also have information on Broadcast Computer technology, discussion forums, tips on equipment fixing to the component level and some training material. A brief history of BroadcastTech.NET.
The domain, broadcasttech.net, was orignally registered on April 10, 2002.
The purpose, as the introduction explains, was to have a place where Broadcast Techs can communicate on the actual board level fixing of the equipment.
As the years progressed my time maintaining the site was very limited and in 2016 I decided to close it by not renewing the domain name.
In Dec 2025 I decided to revive the site.
Between the time the site started and now the technology has dramatically changed.  At the beginning the main focus was VTR's.  Now it's different.
